Of course there are functions other than the armor lock but the times that I use them are few and far between because that few seconds of invincibility is just amazing. I'm starting to like the DMR (which is the battle rifle in this new Halo). Once you get into the groove of it that gun is amazing. We usually just play the team death-match modes which suits me just fine but every once in a while we decide to mix it up and play some team objective modes. When that happens we usually just kinda hate our lives but it puts things into perspective. I'm gonna talk about the single player some and maybe some other games after the break.
The single player is pretty good actually. The same spartan that you make for multi-player is used in single player which makes it feel a little more personal than Master Chief in the previous games. This game takes place before the events of the first Halo. I have played about half way through the campaign so far and it's fun. I tend to play it when I am hanging out with my friend Mike. We are gonna start chipping through it on Legendary soon and I think that will be a good time. I wish I could talk more about the game but honestly it's a Halo game which is not to say it's bad but it's more of the same kind of thing.
I'm gonna talk a little about Sonic Adventure now. I recently downloaded it from the Xbox Live arcade and the game is a port of the Dreamcast version which is awesome. The only real complaint I have about the game is that it's not widescreen. The controls are kinda funky but they have been since it was on the Dreamcast. I'll talk more about it once I play it more but I have finished the Sonic part of the game and those levels are pretty fun for the most part. Every once in a while you will get a slower paced level that isn't all about running super fast which is kinda a buzz-kill when playing the game.
I have been playing a lot of my 360 recently and I think my PS3 might feel kinda depressed about that so I think I'm gonna give it some love pretty soon here. Maybe I'll play through the God of War games sometime soon in the near future. I also have been thinking about playing Persona 4
I have been thinking a lot recently about doing some heavy programming and trying just go for it and make a game. I have a subscription to the XNA service until the middle of March so I might as well try to do something for it. Maybe if I get something simple but fun enough I can pay for next year's subscription to the service. My problem is that right now I don't really feel too inspired to do much programming due to all the crazy in my life at the moment. I'm gonna think about what I want to do for a while and just try to go for it though. The big problem that I have currently is that I am not artistically inclined so I worry about music and art for whatever I make. I guess I should lay the groundwork first and worry about that stuff later.
If anyone has any really good ideas for a simple and fun game then feel free to leave a comment in this blog about it. I'll update more tomorrow. I think I'm gonna try to get in the habit of writing more since I think it is good for me to get my thoughts down somewhere. Have a good evening everyone and play lots of games!

I need to get another 360 so I can play with you guys.
